Martin joined the IFS in 2023 as a research economist at the Centre for Tax Analysis in Developing Countries (TaxDev), where he is also the Senior Technical Adviser for the centre's partnership with Ghana. He contributes to policy analysis and research on taxation in low- and middle-income countries. Prior to joining the IFS, Martin worked as a researcher and policy analyst at the tax policy department of the Ministry of Finance in Slovakia.
