Nick joined the IFS in 2023 and works as a Research Economist in the Education and Skills sector. His current research explores the long-run outcomes of educational interventions, including Sure Start and the Education Maintenance Allowance. Other research includes that on childcare subsidies, adult social care, and the relationship between health and occupation choice. He is studying for a DPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford.
