It studies how much the UK spends on health and social care, specific policies that affect the delivery of care, workforce issues, health inequalities and a wide set of determinants of demand for health and social care in the UK and in low and middle income countries.

The decline of home-cooked food

We show that observed behaviour can be rationalised by the fact that the shadow price of home-cooked food, which accounts for the fact that cooking takes time, has risen relative to the price of ready-to-eat food.
