IFS economists are set to present at a special session at the Royal Economic Society's Annual Conference this year on the IFS Deaton Review: Inequalities in the 21st Century.
IFS Director Paul Johnson and IFS Senior Research Economist Xiaowei Xu will be joined by fellow key contributors to the review Kate Smith (LSE and IFS) and Tim Besley (LSE), for presentations on the central issues in the debate on inequalities, particularly which inequalities are of the greatest concern and how they might be addressed. The session will take place 16:15 - 17:30 on Monday 30th June, and the presentations will be followed by an audience Q&A chaired by Dame Sharon White.
