IFS is organising a workshop about the use of Kantar data. Kantar is a household scanner dataset widely used by IFS staff in work relating to nutrition, consumer demand and beyond. Presentations will cover a broad range of topics, please see the programme above for full details.

Christine Farquharson
Christine's research examines inequalities in children's education and health, especially in the early education and childcare sector.
Peter Levell
Peter joined in 2009. He has published several papers on the microeconomics of household spending and labour supply decisions over the life-cycle.
Gautam Vyas
Gautam joined the IFS in 2023 and works in the IOD sector. His work focuses on the consumption behaviour of individuals in the UK.
Lars Nesheim
Lars Nesheim is a Professor of Economics at UCL and Co-Director of the Centre for Microdata Methods and Practice (cemmap).
Maria Trobat I Castelltort
Maria works in the TaxDev sector contributing to research on taxation in low- and middle-income countries.
