The ETPF/IFS conference will include a mix of policy and research presentations broadly looking at the issues that remain post-BEPS. 

The research presentations will cover:

  • Is the investment of multinationals less sensitive to taxation? Martin Simmler (Oxford University)

  • How uncertain is the taxation of profit? Michael Devereux (Oxford University)

  • The post-BEPS world in developing countries. Nadine Riedel (Ruhr University Bochum) and Richard Collier (Oxford University)

The two policy papers will cover Equalisation taxes and taxes on revenue and the Rationale for the fundamental principles of the existing international corporate tax system.

The conference will also feature a keynote address by Sir Edward Troup, former Executive Chair of HM Revenue and Customs, and a discussion with Mike Williams, HM Treasury.

This conference is organised by the European Tax Policy Forum (ETPF) and by the ESRC Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy at IFS.
