Imran Rasul appointed Royal Economic Society President-Elect

Following their recent Annual General Meeting, the Royal Economic Society has appointed CPP Director and IFS Research Director, Imran Rasul to the prestigious position of RES President-Elect. The Royal Economic Society has also appointed Prof Sir Christopher Pissarides (The LSE) as RES President.

Professor Rasul said: "[I am] very honoured to be appointed [this is] a chance to give something back and try and do good for the community of economists in the UK. I look forward to working with Chris and everyone else at the RES."
