Statement on Alistair Darling's passing

We have been saddened to learn the news of Alistair Darling's passing last week. Alistair was the Chair of the Steering Group of our ongoing Pensions Review, alongside David Gauke and Joanne Segars, and, until last month, the Chair of the abrdn Financial Fairness Trust, which we work in partnership with for this Review.

While this is only a small project in comparison to the other achievements in his career, we will miss his warm presence, wealth of knowledge and thoughtful guidance in our work. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues."
