The Chancellor will make his Budget statement on Wednesday 16th March 2005. On Thursday 17th March, the day following the budget, the Institute for Fiscal Studies will be holding a lunchtime briefing at the IFS offices in London. The presentation will provide an opportunity to hear a considered view of the Chancellor's 2005 Budget announcements from Institute staff.
The briefing will take place between 1pm and 2pm and a sandwich lunch will be available beforehand. Places at this event are free of charge.
