<p><p><p><p><p>The organising committee of Public Economics UK (PEUK) invites you to submit a paper or express your interest in attending this year's first Public Economics Conference, to be held on the 14-15th June 2007 at the University of Leicester. </p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Submissions are invited in any area of public economics and public policy. Graduate students are warmly encouraged to apply. All submissions should be in PDF format and reach <a href="mailto:[email protected]">Hamish Low</a> by May 1st.</p><p>In addition to academic presentations, the program will include a panel discussion on the topic "The optimal size of the public sector" by Tim Besley (LSE and MPC), Torben Andersen (Aarhus) and Philip Booth (IEA).</p><p>If you wish to participate please email <a href="mailto:[email protected]">Eve Kilbourne</a> including details of any dietary requirements and whether you need accommodation.</p><p>We will pay for accommodation and food. In addition UK travel expenses (up to 50 pounds for rail fares) will be covered for all participants.</p><p>Places at this meeting are available on a first come first served basis.</p></p></p></p>
