This is the fifth in a series of lectures and debates being organised by the CIOT and the IFS to promote debate among policy-makers, opinion-formers and the wider tax and economics communities on the future of the UK and international tax systems.
The debate will take place in The Great Room at RSA House, 8 John Adam Street, London WC2N 6EZ.
Speakers will include Rupert Harrison (former Chief of Staff to George Osborne), Jill Rutter (former senior Treasury civil servant, now at the Institute for Government) and Stewart Wood (Labour peer and former adviser to Gordon Brown).
The debate will be followed by a drinks reception.
