A cemmap workshop supported by the European Research Council.

This workshop will explore some recent developments in Robust Methodology. Speakers will report new findings on fundamental techniques, new methodology, and state of the art applications.

Speakers include:

  • Roger Koenker (Illinois) 'Hotelling Tubes and Uniform Confidence Bands'

  • Oliver Linton (LSE)

  • David Mason 'Central limit theorems for level sets and support estimators for densities'

  • Richard Nickl (Statistical Laboratory, Cambridge) 'Adaptive Confidence Bands in Nonparametric Function Estimation'

  • Yoon Whang (Seoul National University)
