Chancellor Philip Hammond will deliver the first Budget of this parliament, and the first Autumn Budget since November 1996, on Wednesday 22 November 2017. IFS researchers will present their initial analysis of the Chancellor's announcements on the public finances, spending on public services, and the tax and the benefit system on the following day, Thursday 23 November, at a lunchtime briefing chaired and introduced by IFS Director Paul Johnson in central London.
Registration will take place between 12:30 and 13:00, when a sandwich lunch will be served. The briefing will commence at 13:00.
