Svetlana Pashchenko is a macroeconomist with an interest in insurance markets and public policy analysis. She is particularly interested in the interaction between private and public insurance. Her recent research focuses on the health insurance market and the market for private annuities in the US. Svetlana received her PhD in economics from the University of Virginia in 2011 and she has BA in Economics from Moscow State University.
