Henrique joined the IFS in 2023 and works in the Income, Work, and Welfare sector. Henrique’s primary research interests are in labour economics and early child development, particularly on the consequences of job loss for workers and the impact of income shocks on children's human capital. Before joining the IFS, Henrique was a Pre-doctoral Researcher at INSEAD, at the Stone Centre for the Study of Wealth Inequality, working on several projects on health and labour market inequalities.
