Bonnie is Head of Communications at IFS and joined the Institute in 2003. She is responsible for the Institutes’ external communications strategy and has overall responsibility for the IFS website, press, public affairs, events, social media, publications and membership (individual and corporate). She manages a small communications team to ensure that IFS research achieves wide and enduring impact.
Bonnie is first port of call for public affairs and strategic partnerships and also manages the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) at IFS, providing over £1m of additional funding for impact and engagement activities.
Before joining IFS, Bonnie worked at Help the Aged (now part of Age UK) and co-ordinated a wide range of events and engagement activities.
