Miguel Almunia is an Associate Professor of Economics at CUNEF (Madrid). Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Warwick.
He is a Research Affiliate at CEPR, Oxford CBT, IFS and IGC. He obtained a PhD in Economics from University of California - Berkeley, a MPA in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School. His research focuses on the effects of government policies, in particular taxation and regulation, on the behavior of firms and households.
