Ingvild Almås is a professor at Institute for International Economic Studies, Stockholm University and Professor II at the Department of Economics, Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where she is a Principal Investigator at the Centre of Excellence FAIR (Centre for Experimental Research on Fairness, Inequality and Rationality).
Almås research interests are development economics with experimental and behavioral economics as subfields. Almås has published extensively in leading international journals including Science, American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy and Management Science. She is presently on the Monetary Policy board of the Norwegian Central Bank. She is and editor of Scandinavian Journal of Economics, and an associate editor for Fiscal Studies, and Law, Economics and Philosophy. She was previously an associate editor of Review of Income and Wealth.
