In this online event IFS researchers set the scene for the government after the election, presenting the key findings from their latest flagship annual report on living standards, poverty and inequality in the UK, funded by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

As well as setting out the trends and drivers of household incomes in the latest data, IFS researchers presented new research on the poverty and living standards among pensioners, exploring the impacts of the cost of living crisis, reforms to the state pension, and the age at which one becomes eligible.
