Dr Andy Summers is Associate Professor of Law at the London School of Economics, Research Associate at the IFS, and Faculty Associate of the International Inequalities Institute at LSE. His research focuses on tax law and policy, particularly the taxation of wealth and top incomes in the UK. Recent work includes studies of capital gains, the UK’s ‘non-dom’ tax regime, and tax and international migration. Dr Summers also studies the measurement of economic inequality using tax data and is a contributor to the World Inequality Database.
