Paul Johnson, Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies, has been awarded Honorary Doctor of Laws at the University of Sussex winter graduation 2024.
The University of Sussex awards honorary degrees to individuals who have achieved excellence in their field or who have made a major contribution to academic, regional or national life through progress or change in society.
Paul Johnson, who grew up in Shoreham-by-Sea in West Sussex, stated: “As a local boy, it is a huge honour to be getting this degree from the University of Sussex.”
